Took my wife's 5 year old car in for some work (rear rotors/pads and front axle boot). Less than 20 miles later she looses all brake pressure and is unable to stop. Shop claimed it was due to an unrelated issue with the front brakes (caliper). The whole situation seemed very "convenient" for the shop. Even if the shops explanation can be believed it's still troubling that they didn't catch a caliper that was so badly worn that it caused total brake failure in less than 20 miles. Keep in mind that the car was in the shop to have the brake system evaluated... Edit: It was not discussed as the owner claims and the work occurred at this shops address.
